    Additional Comments:  The seminar will begin at 3:15pm in Rhodes Conference Room on the second floor of the Sanford Building at the Sanford School of Public Policy. Light reception to follow at 4:45pm. Kilian is professor of economics at the University of Michigan. He is a foremost scholar of energy commodity prices, particularly fluctuations in the price of oil, transmission of oil price shocks, the role of speculation in oil markets, and oil price forecasting. His seminar is presented by the Energy Initiative's Duke Energy Economics and Policy seminars.
